Our geographical area is limited to how competitive our pricing can be. Typically, our radius is 500 miles from our production facility.

 

Question:

Is sealer required for precast products?

Answer:

Sealing plant made precast is not required. You can apply sealer, stain or paint. We recommend that you discuss your options with a painting professional.

 

Question:

What is PCI MNL-117?

Answer:

PCI is the governing body for precast concrete products and establish the guidelines for design, production, and erection tolerances. PCI MNL-117 is a Quality guideline for architectural precast components.

 

Question:

What is the fire rating of precast?

Answer:

It is the same rating as concrete. However, special attention needs to be paid to the joints between panels. There are products available that will provide up to a 4-hour rating.

 

Question:

What is the R-value of a wall panel?

Answer:

The R-value is dependent on the cross section of the panel and the type and thickness of insulation provided. Insulation types are Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), Extruded Polystyrene (XPS), and Polyisocyanurate (ISO).
